Chef Jason is a Hamilton native who started cooking at a very young age and began in the industry at 15 and hasn't looked back. The interest and passion grew with his journey in the Culinary Arts. His skills are evident having studied, worked and practiced in many different countries all over the world from the fine dining restaurants of
Chef Jason is a Hamilton native who started cooking at a very young age and began in the industry at 15 and hasn't looked back. The interest and passion grew with his journey in the Culinary Arts. His skills are evident having studied, worked and practiced in many different countries all over the world from the fine dining restaurants of London and Paris to wonderful traditional cook's homes from Hungary, Tunisia, New Zealand and all over Europe. His travels have given him a versatile ability to master the dishes from the many placed he has lived and visited. Although he spent many years abroad, he also spent a good amount of his career working here in and around the Golden Horseshoe area as a Chef with the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club, Sheraton Hotels, Hamilton Health Sciences and a number of successful independently operated restaurants. He takes great pride in some of the accolades and accomplishments over the years such as being voted "Readers Choice Best Chef" for two years consecutively, cooked on Slice Tv's "Four Weddings Canada", and participated in local events like "Soup Fest". Recognition is great but Chef Jason is particularly known in and around the community for his work with many of the cities charities and assistance programs often donating his time and culinary abilities to groups like Help Heal Humanity, YWCA, Living Rock, Mission Services, Salvation Army, Food for Schools Programs and many others. Chef Jason is a very outgoing and vibrant personality who strives to bring smiles and satisfaction to every event he takes on.
